Wootton
We engaged Brendon of Binna Burra Construction to do a house extension and self-contained Granny flat on our property in Wootton. To say we are happy with the way our project turned out is an understatement. We found Brendon’s work to be of the highest quality and his business and personal approach to the project totally professional but still down to earth. Nothing was ever a problem and no job too small or too big for Brendon to handle, even though a few challenges were thrown at him along the way. Brendon always kept us up to date with the progression of the build as well as any possible delays for materials or inspections that he encountered.

Now that the work is finished, the house looks amazing with its larger rooms and massive kitchen. The granny flat where my elderly parents now live has everything they need and more for their twilight years. It is cosy and inviting and they absolutely love it.
We would highly recommend Brendon and Binna Burra Constructions if you are considering any building projects big or small and we will definitely use Binna Burra Constructions on any future building projects we may have.

After purchasing a farm on the mid north coast and not knowing any local tradesman in the area we engaged Brendon from Binna Burra Construction to complete some renovations on the house.
Once we commenced working with Brendon we quickly realised how honest, versatile and reliable he was. The Kennedy Superannuation Fund engaged Binna Burra Construction (Brendon O’Meara) to build 3 granny flats in Taree, with the aim to increase returns on their current property investments.

The brief was to construct each granny flat with the maximum allowance of 60m2, have 2 bedrooms and to fit in with the existing dwelling. The build was to be of good quality and finishes and to a budget of $125000. (We wanted to improve upon prefabricated granny flats of inferior quality but similar end budget after extras)
The work was carried out in a professional and timely fashion. All aspects of the build were dealt with, including inspections and approvals from the relevant authorities. We managed to rent out each new build within 12 weeks of start date, which lowered the impact for the main dwelling renters and started our return sooner than planned as well as coming in under budget. The resultant return on the granny flats was subsequently around 13% p.a. which was greater than our expectations.

We were impressed with Brendon’s running of the projects and found him Honest and Personable. His skills as a carpenter were clearly evident and the fact that he also performed other trades’ jobs like the roofing, kitchen installation, tiling, painting etc meant that time and money was saved instead of waiting for “tradies” to come and complete their tasks at inflated prices.
